Carex flagelligera ‘Auburn’

This sedge forms a tuft of gracefully drooping leaves. The plant can reach 37 to 45 cm (15 to 18 in.) in height and width. The fine leaves of the ‘Auburn’ cultivar are not bronze, but rather tinted auburn as the cultivar’s name suggests. This sedge is ideal for edging flowerbeds, rock gardens or container arrangements. The flagellifera species is native to New Zealand.
