Cordyline australis ‘Southern Splendor’

This cordyline, which closely resembles ‘Pink Passion’, has long, thin pink leaves, tinted dark gray-green to purplish in the center, giving it a “fluorescent” appearance. Its remarkably colorful foliage is very bright. This graphic-looking selection has an upright habit. Growth is medium and the plant can reach 45-60 cm. This cultivar is a mutation of the cordyline australe ‘Red Star’ discovered by renowned New Zealand breeder Arthur Rendle in 1996. It was registered in 2008. Graphic and erect.
