Colocasia esculenta ‘Coal Miner’

Like all its congeners, this colocase is suitable for both sunny and shady gardens. It’s a version almost similar to the ‘Illustris’ selection, with large, heart-shaped, veined black leaves shaded with green, but larger in size. The upright plant can reach 90 to 130 cm in height. The back of the leaves also differs, being dark olive rather than medium green. The leaves look best in sunlight.
