Canna ‘South Pacific Scarlet’

All-America Selections 2013

Canna ‘South Pacific Scarlet’ adds a distinctive exotic touch to the garden, with its scarlet tropical flower 10 cm in diameter. The main thing that sets this spectacularly flowering canna apart from its congeners is that it is the first F1 hybrid from seed. This makes it a robust plant that blooms throughout the summer. South Pacific Scarlet’ flowers a week earlier than other cannas on the market, lasts longer and develops good basal branching. The Japanese company Takii obtained this canna.
