Alocasia ‘Sarian’

This reptilian plant adds a prehistoric impact to flowerbeds and container arrangements.

The triangular, brick-brown spots on the stems are reminiscent of reptile scales. Darker at the base of the plant, their color fades as they climb the stem. The prominent white veins of its long triangular leaves contrast well with the dark green color of the leaf. The leaves point skywards, giving the plant a singular physiognomy and making it appear tall.

The plant can reach 80-90 cm in height. Sarian’ grows in full sun. This selection is a hybrid between zebra alocase and Micholitz alocase. A spiky plant.
