Alocasia ‘Regal Shields’

Alocase ‘Regal Shields’ is a selection obtained by sowing following a cross between fragrant alocase and alocase ‘Black Velvet’ (‘Black Velvet’). The top of the leaf has a satiny, almost black sheen, and the back is tinged reddish-brown with soft green main veins. The plant forms a relatively small rosette that can reach 60 to 70 cm in height. Satiny velvet appearance.
