Alocasia ‘Mayan Mask’

This alocase, another choice selection from famous hybridizer Brian Williams’ line of brand-name hybrids, boasts large, dark-green varnished leaves with green veins running through them. The underside of the leaves is dark brown. The strong, vigorous stems give this tropical beauty an upright, fat-leafed habit. As they mature, the leaves form an ascending profile with an elegant curvature, allowing the young leaves to emerge from the center. The leaf edges are serrated.

The vigorous plant can easily reach 70-90 cm in height and 60-80 cm in width. ‘Mayan Mask’, the little brother of ‘Kuchin Mask’, is part of the Masquerade™ series and as the cultivar’s name suggests its leaves recall the design of a Mayan mask.
