Alocasia lauterbachiana
This alocase native to New Guinea is also popularly known as Purple Sword because its foliage consists of narrow, sword-shaped green leaves, tinged reddish on the underside. Raised purple veins and a wavy border add great ornamental value to this plant. Its shiny, upward-pointing leaves can reach 60 cm in length. They are so shiny that they appear to be artificial. This plant can reach 60 to 90 cm.
